Accenture Promoted Sanjeev Vohra to Lead Global Applied Intelligence

Consulting firm, Accenture, appoints Sanjeev Vohra to be the global lead of Applied Intelligence. This position manages a global Applied Intelligence team of 40,000 who are experts in AI, data science, deep learning, machine learning, and data engineering. Netflix Names Ted Sarandos co-CEO

Leader of Netflix’s content efforts, Ted Sarandos, is promoted to co-CEO joining current CEO, Reed Hastings. Hastings credits Sarandos for the company’s success with his content strategy and consumer knowledge. Sarandos will continue to be the company’s chief content officer and become a member of the board of directors. LinkedIn to Cut 6% of Jobs Due to COVID-19

LinkedIn announced on Tuesday, July 21 that it will cut about 960 jobs, or 6% of its global workforce as a result of the slow hiring process during the pandemic. The job reductions will be from the platform’s global sales and hiring teams. CBRE Published 2020 Scoring Tech Talent Report

CBRE released its 2020 scoring report with the top-ranked tech talent markets being the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington D.C., and Seattle. The data also indicates that Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. had more tech graduates than jobs and had the most drained markets. Undeveloped markets such as Canada, the U.S. Midwest and South, and Latin America can provide additional opportunities for the talent pool. [Read More]
