San Francisco-based data annotation platform, Scale AI, has hired Brad Porter as their first CTO. Scale AI is a four-year-old unicorn startup headed by 23-year-old CEO Alexandr Wang. It has been providing high-quality training data for leading machine learning teams, including Waymo and Uber. Porter will be leading Scale's AI system development with "combined ownership of product direction and engineering". Uppal will focus on bringing the company’s end-to-end AI platform to more organizations worldwide, making their AI solutions more accessible.
